# Profile and preferences (/docs/account/profile-and-preferences)

Open **Settings** for account pages that apply to you rather than the whole workspace.

## Profile [#profile]

Open **Settings > Profile** to update your display name, username, and profile image.

Your sign-in email is managed through a confirmation flow. Start the change, enter the code sent to the new address, and confirm it before the new address becomes active.

## Interface preferences [#interface-preferences]

Open **Settings > Preferences** to choose:

* System, light, or dark theme
* Expanded or collapsed sidebar by default
* Pointer cursors for interactive controls

Preferences follow your signed-in profile. The browser may briefly use a cached choice while the saved value loads.

## Notification preferences [#notification-preferences]

Open **Settings > Notification settings** to choose which eligible updates are also sent by email. Required in-product safety notifications remain enabled.

## Delete your personal account [#delete-your-personal-account]

Personal deletion removes your Invokeable user identity. It does not delete a workspace owned by other members.

1. If you are the only primary admin for a workspace, use **Contact us** in the help menu to request a transfer, or delete that workspace first.
2. Open the account-deletion control in Profile.
3. Enter `DELETE MY ACCOUNT` exactly.
4. Submit the request.

If account deletion cannot finish, Invokeable keeps the request pending so it can be retried safely. It does not report the account as deleted until the process finishes.
