# Workspace and members (/docs/account/workspace-and-members)

A workspace contains one organization's product connections, agents, journeys, runs, findings, billing state, and access decisions.

## Workspace settings [#workspace-settings]

Open **Settings > Workspace** to update the workspace name and image. The name appears in the workspace switcher and invitations.

The primary admin can also review workspace lifecycle controls. Deactivation stops ordinary use without immediately deleting workspace history.

## Invite a member [#invite-a-member]

<Steps>
  <Step>
    ### Open Members [#open-members]

    Go to **Settings > Members**. You must be an Admin.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    ### Enter the email and role [#enter-the-email-and-role]

    Choose Admin, Member, or Viewer. Use the least powerful role that covers the person's work. See [Roles and permissions](/docs/reference/roles-and-permissions).
  </Step>

  <Step>
    ### Send the invitation [#send-the-invitation]

    A pending invitation appears in the member page. You can revoke it before acceptance.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Change member access [#change-member-access]

Admins can change a member between Admin, Member, and Viewer. They can also suspend access, restore a suspended member, or remove a member. The new access takes effect as soon as the change is saved.

A workspace must always retain an active primary admin. If you are the only primary admin and need to delete your account, open **Contact us** from the help menu to request a transfer. You can also delete the workspace first.

## Switch workspaces [#switch-workspaces]

Open the workspace menu at the top of the sidebar and choose a workspace. Invokeable reloads your role and access for the workspace you select.

## Delete a workspace [#delete-a-workspace]

Only the active primary admin can request deletion.

1. Cancel any active paid subscription.
2. Resolve any legal hold or other displayed blocker.
3. Open **Settings > Workspace**.
4. Enter `DELETE <workspace name>` exactly.
5. Submit the request.

The request enters a seven-day grace period. You can cancel it before processing begins. At completion, Invokeable rechecks blockers, stops assessment work, closes the workspace, and applies the workspace's data-governance rules.

<Callout type="warning" title="Workspace deletion affects every member">
  Export required workspace data before the grace period ends. A personal
  account deletion is a separate action in Profile.
